Important Information Regarding the City of Dallas Public Health Request

200316 Cod Public Health Request

March 16 Update

Effective March 16 in accordance with the city of Dallas request for faith communities, we will temporarily stop all in-person events.

  • In-person Sunday services, Sunday School, and Wednesday meetings will be put on hold. However, we are working on arrangements to have audio access available to anyone who wishes to attend Sunday services and Wednesday meetings remotely.  These will be complete services and meetings, including readings, music, hymns, solos on Sundays, and testimonies on Wednesdays. We will update this page with information when it becomes available.
    • Hymnals will be available to borrow from the Reading Room, and you can make arrangements with the Reading Room Librarian.
    • Sunday collection will still be accepted via mail and online through Paypal.
  • The Reading Room will be closed to the public and all small group meetings will be canceled.  However, the Reading Room librarian and assistant librarians will continue to be available to answer inquiries and make arrangements for purchases or loans of Reading Room materials.  You may contact the Reading Room at 214-352-5250 or by email to readingroom@thirdchurchdallas.org.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask.  You may contact the Clerk (Linda Miller at 724-467-0997) or anyone on the Board and we will do our best to answer your questions.

Thank you in advance for your patience as we work through these details.  While circumstances are changing rapidly, and things may seem to be unsettled at the moment, we can all take comfort in the fact that “Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.”  Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 494.

Finally, and most importantly, no one should feel isolated from their church family or go without their needs being met during this time.  If you have a need, or know someone in our church family who does, please be in touch with the Clerk and we will do everything we can to provide assistance.

“Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Ps. 91:9–11

Lovingly,

The Board of Trustees
